About Stephen de Vere
Stephen's most recent TV credits are for the landmark TV series 'Frozen Planet' (2011), ‘Yellowstone’ (2009) and ‘Life’ (2009) which won an EMMY for photography.
He began his career as a wildlife cameraman with the RSPB and went on to work with the BBC Natural History Unit on many of Sir David Attenborough’s award-winning television series including ‘The Life of Birds’ (1998).
For ‘Life in the Freezer’ (1993) he spent a year living on the Antarctic continent filming emperor penguins for the episode The Big Freeze, which won EMMY and BAFTA awards for photography.

Stephen has also worked on several feature films, including 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', 'King Arthur' and 'Alien Vs. Predator', as a creature animator.
